Note of the Week:

I would like to take this opportunity and express my sense of gratitude to all of our grandmothers and grandfathers who visited KZV and spent quality time with their grandchildren and their teachers yesterday. It was a very exhilarating experience to meet with you and hear your very positive responses about our school and its efforts to offer your grandchildren the best of Armenian cultural practices.

Thank you for taking the time and visiting us, thank you for all the sacrifices you have made to ensure the quality of our students’ education. I see you dropping off and picking up your grandchildren, I see you in the school kitchen and dining hall—in my mind’s eye, I see you helping your TORNIKS with their homework, and I see you wherever the generational chain of support requires your presence and your helping hand.

This also gives me an opportunity to thank the dedicated members of ASPTA in making sure that our grandparents were given the courtesy and honor they deserve. Let’s work together to make this day an even more successful event next year.

Best Regards and Respects,

Yeprem Mehranian
