The Computer Technology committee was formed during the 2003-2004 school year in order to insure that students, teachers, and administrators learn to use the most up-to-date information technology, in order to enhance learning, as well as increase the efficiency of the school's administrative systems and teaching methods.

The committee has hard-wired the KZV campus for computer networking; equipped teachers with laptop computers; provided teacher training on several application software packages; provided a new "state of the art" computer lab for instruction of the school's computer courses; and evaluated various systems for the computerization of the school's student information data.

The Computer Technology Committee continues to maintain, upgrade, and build upon the school's computer facilities.

The KZV Armenian School Parent Teacher Association (A.S.P.T.A.) has a tradition of contributing its members' volunteer time and talents to help improve the school facilities and programs. The PTA plans and serves the school's hot lunch program and sponsors various school fundraisers throughout the year, including chocolate sales, bake sales at various school programs, school calendar sales, and the SCRIP program, through which a percentage of families' store purchases are contributed to KZV.  Proceeds from these projects have helped update KZV's computer lab, library, playground, and after-school programs. The PTA gives a yearly report about its activities at KZV's Back to School Night each Fall.  All parents are welcome to participate in the PTA's activities.  Volunteers for the hot lunch program are an important regular need, and parents are encouraged to satisfy their parent volunteer hours' expectations through this and other PTA programs.

In late 2004, the Board of Regents of the Prelacy Schools set nutrition standards for all its schools, directing school administrators to strive for high nutritional content in school lunches, vending machines, beverages and snacks.
The NAC collaborates with the PTA (Parent Teacher Association) to develop wholesome, balanced, nutritious menus for the PTA Hot Lunch program, beverages, and other food offerings, and to help insure the food that is being offered to students meets food service safety guidelines.  The NAC also consults with the KZV teaching staff to help bring nutrition education into the classroom.

Each grade at KZV has a "room parent," who volunteers time to organizing group events for students in their grade and assisting teachers in planning and carrying out various classroom activities associated with holidays and special projects.  The preparations are met through a yearly contribution collected from parents.
