Karen Huff- 1st Grade English, Science Social Studies & Math.

Mrs. Huff is a wonderful part of the KZV faculty. She brings with her years of experience, a light-hearted attitude that makes the teachers and kids smile! Mrs. Huff earned her bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University with a concentration in English/Creative Writing. She also holds a CA Multiple Subject Credential and a single-subject authorization in English that she earned at the University of California in Hayward. Mrs. Huff believes that “all three year olds are brilliant. They are full of curiosity and wonder. Our challenge is to instill intellectual discipline while continuing to nurture the curiosity and sense of wonder.  If children learn to think well, read well and treat others with respect and caring, they have the tools to master anything else they desire to learn.” Mrs. Huff is quite energetic as she remodels her house, enjoys sailing, and she also takes her 1965 Mustang to the race track. Mrs. Huff loves the bilingual program here at KZV, along with the teamwork of the faculty.
