Benigno Lopez -7th & 8th Mathematics

Mr. Lopez has a Masters degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from San Francisco State University.  Mr. Lopez joined the KZV faculty in 2005 and has been teaching since 1999.  Mr. Lopez believes that "group work" is an effective instructional method, using it as often as appropriate. And in particular cases, he says "one on one" attention works best. Mr. Lopez appreciates the "family atmosphere" at KZV and says he looks forward to the beginning of each school year "because of the unknown potential." He says he gets great satisfaction in watching a student who had been struggling "begin to see the light and feel good about it."  Mr. Lopez belongs to the American Mathematical Society and enjoys reading, billiards, and video games.
