Yeprem Mehranian– Principal     

Yeprem Mehranian has been serving as principal at KZV since January of 2007. He brings with him a range of instructional expertise, which includes elementary, secondary, and university teaching experiences. Mr. Mehranian holds a Masters of Science Degree in elementary education from Bank Street College of Education, and a Doctorate of Education Degree in Teacher Education and School Improvement from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Issues of curriculum and pedagogy, and culture and identity, particularly in the setting of Armenian day schools in the United States, are among Mr. Mehranian's main practical as well as theoretical interests. He looks forward to working with the various constituencies that make up the school community at KZV, its teachers, parents, students, staff and other administrators.
