KZV has reached a major milestone. For thirty years, it has succeeded in educating a roster of alumni that any private school would be very proud of. The economic ups and downs of the world have not left it untouched. However, KZV has come through the difficult times and is now on very solid foundations with a new principal and a new board who, together, are determined to sustain and promote the unique place KZV has as a private school in San Francisco.

This uniqueness has to do with the extra elements that KZV offers beyond the solid academic curriculum offered by most private schools. KZV’s second track in Armenian language, literature, and history makes it possible for the students of this school to get a solid grounding and identity in their bilingual/bicultural world. This grounding in turn contributes to successful members of both the Armenian milieu and the global setting in which they find themselves in the twenty-first century.
