Gregory Ohanessian

Class of 1998

Gregory is a Class of 1998 alumnus. After KZV he was accepted to St. Ignatius College Preparatory in San Francisco graduating in 2002. He then went on to Washington State University to earn a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology. Gregory continued his education at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, in St. Augustine, Florida, receiving his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. While he was at SI he played football and was on Stage Crew for countless theatre performances. He is also a member of the Olympic Club and loves to play golf.

Currently, Gregory is an Orthopedic/Sports Physical Therapist and Healthcare Consultant. He chose this path because when he was young he injured his shoulder playing sports and he went through an extensive rehab regimen. This incident sparked his interest and he just ran with it!

What he likes about his job is being able to help his patients recover from various injuries and return them to their goals. He especially likes working with athletes in all sports. He has been a part of champion Sport Medicine teams such as City College of San Francisco's 2021. National Championship Football team and The Olympic Club's National Champion Rugby Team. He also likes helping startup healthcare companies reach their goals and push them for better and more efficient healthcare in the future. What he loved about KZV were the PE classes and the hot lunches. Gregory is married to Francesca and has two boys Matthew, 8, and Joe, 6. They live in San Francisco. Hopefully, Gregory's sons will follow in their dad's footsteps.
